Myten er slik. Kjøtt inneholder viktige næringsstoffer som er utilgjengelig fra andre kilder.

 

Vitenskapelig Fakta:

Når det gjelder essensielle mineraler og sporstoffer, finnes det ingen som er eksklusive i kjøtt eller fisk: ikke Jod, kalsium, kalium, magnesium, natrium eller sink eller til og med B-12.


Det eneste vitaminet som kjøtt tilbyr og planteføde ikke - med mindre
planten er gjærende eller råtnende - er B-12. 

B-12 er dannet når formålet er å bryte ned, som et avfallsprodukt eller å gjære. 

Det er derfor Tofu, som ikke er gjærende mat, ikke inneholder B-12. Og tempeh og
Miso, som er gjæret soya, inneholder B-12. B-12 er også funnet i alger som bidrar til å bryte ned døde kropper. Behovet for B-12 som et viktig vitamin er ikke etablert!

Det er derfor ikke nødvendig å spise kjøtt for å få adgang til mineral eller Vitamin som kroppen trenger.

Forfatter Nina Planck sa, "nå har det seg imidlertid slik at mennesker
foretrekker animalske proteiner og fett fremfor korn og knoller fordi de inneholder alle de essensielle aminosyrer i rett forhold som er nødvendig for livet. Dette er imidlertid ikke tilfelle med planteproteiner, som er dårligere i kvantitet og kvalitet - også soya. Et vegansk kosthold kan mangle Vitamin B12, som kun finnes i animalsk mat; de brukbare vitaminene A og D, finnes i kjøtt, fisk, egg og smør, og nødvendige mineraler som kalsium og sink. Når barn blir frarøvet alle disse næringsstoffene, vil de lide tilbakestående vekst, rakitt og nerveskader. "

Grunnen til at du finner større mengder B12 i kjøtt, fisk, egg og melkeprodukter er fordi du må ha høy titere av bakterier til å syntetisere B-12. B-12 er et morbid (sykelig) avfallsprodukt av bakterier, som finnes i nedbrytningen i animalske produkter. Jo mer råttent kjøtt, jo mer B-12 som er produsert som et surt avfalls produkt av bakterier og gjær fermentering (gjæring). Akkurat som karbonmonoksid er et sykelig avfallsprodukt av bilenes energiproduksjon, er B-12 et slikt avfallsprodukt av energiforbruket for materie brytes ned. 

Det er derfor B-12 finnes i fermenterte soyaprodukter som tempeh og miso.

Det faktum at vegetariske dietter mangler B-12 er en god ting, ikke en dårlig
ting. Det er ingen vitenskapelige bevis som kan godtgjøre at det er viktig for kroppen med B12.

Jeg har helt bevisst prøvd dietten, og gått tilbake til gamle vaner for å erfare forskjellen. Jeg kjenner stor forskjell i kroppen min når jeg spiser grønnsaker og drikker mye vann, og når jeg spiser tunge retter med kjøtt eller "junkfood". Den største oppdagelsen jeg gjorde, er å kjenne på hvor mye mer energi jeg har, og hvor lite søvn jeg trenger.

En nylig publisert studie fra India viser i all sin enkelhet at stråling fra mobiltelfoner tar livet av bier. Dronningen legger færre egg, færre arbeidsbier kommer tilbake, og enda færre arbeidsbier flyr ut av kuben.  De blir forvirret og tiltaksløse ...... Biene ble utsatt for 2 mobilsamtaler a 15 minutter pr dag.  Det var helt vanlige mobiltelefoner som ble brukt.?Etter endt forsøk var det hverken pollen eller honning i kubene.??I andre studier har telebransjen gjort det de kunne for å bortforklare eller finne vikarierende argumenter.  Enkelheten i denne indiske studien gjør at resultatene ikke kan bortforklares. Det sier seg selv at med dokumentasjon som den ovenfor er det ikke forsvarlig å utsette for eksempel uvitende barn for stråling fra mobiltelefoner og trådløse nettverk. En fornuftig føre var praksis tilsier derfor at man snarest stenger ned trådløse nettverk der barn og unge oppholder seg til daglig. Skoler er et slikt sted.

I den senere tid har det begynt å komme tegn på at ytringsfriheten i Norge ikke er som man skulle forvente i et fritt demokratisk land.

 

Kanskje er det gammelt nytt, men for vår del startet denne erfaringen gjennom å være involvert i Stavanger Aftenblads hets mot Robert O. Young og hans kontroversielle kostholdsteorier. Dette var en artikkelserie som gikk over flere måneder med mye negativ omtale av både Robert O. Young og Kevin Frøystad som er opplært mikroskopist av dr. Young.

 

Debatten holdes fortsatt i live i Stavanger Aftenblad gjennom leserinnlegg som innhentes fra såkalte eksperter som mener at pH-dietten på ingen måte kan utgjøre noen særlig forskjell på helsen vår. Naive som vi var trodde vi at begge parter ville komme til orde i en såpass kontroversiell sak, men faktum er at vi er blokkert fra å delta i debatten overhodet. Vi vet at mange mennesker tror at vi ikke er interessert i å fortsette debatten, men la det være helt klart at det er Aftenbladet som hindrer oss i å svare på noe som helst i denne saken.

 

Hva forteller det egentlig om Stavanger Aftenblad som en meningsbærer i samfunnet?

 

Om vi går litt tilbake i tid kan vi informere om at Aftenbladet ønsket intervju med Kevin Frøystad like etter artikkelen om dr. Young og hans foredrag i Stavanger Forum. Kevin gikk da i dialog med avisen. Dialogen førte med seg en liten lovnad fra avisen før intervjuet gikk i trykken. Den innebar at om ting ikke kom frem som ønsket, skulle han få skrive sin versjon i et debatt-innlegg. Dette ble avklart med journalist Toralf Sandø som var arkitekten bak artikkelserien. Alt foregikk i en munter tone, og Kevin godkjente derfor intervjuet i god tro på at en av Norges største aviser var til å stole på. Erfaringene videre ble noe helt annet som vi skal se.

 

Kevin mente at intervjuet som kom på trykk manglet nødvendig informasjon om pH-dietten. Både overskrift og vinkling på intervjuet ble lite nyansert. Han ønsket derfor å benytte seg av tilbudet om et innlegg i etterkant.

 

Nedenfor er tilbakemeldingen fra Aftenbladet på innlegget som ble sendt inn fra Kevin. Les det sensurerte innlegget HER. Kevin hadde også en veldig god tone med debattleder i begynnelsen, før debattlederen plutselig ble taus. Debattleder svarte deretter ikke på telefon eller e-post før han altså avsluttet det hele med denne e-posten til kronikkforfatter Kevin Frøystad:

På tross av lovnader om mulighet til å gi svar på tiltale ble altså hele kronikken lagt til side med begrunnelse at den var feil! Ikke kom det nytt tilbud om mulighet for ytring gjennom noe mildere som et leserinnlegg heller. Frøystad tok kontakt med avisen for å få svar på hva som var feil, men fikk da heller ikke svar fra debattleder Vølstad. Saken ble elegant lagt død!

 

Publiserer Stavanger Aftenblad kun nyheter, artikler og leserinnlegg som er riktige? Hva er riktig? Er det tidligere klarlagt at det er Stavanger Aftenblad som sitter på fasiten på rett og galt-spørsmålene i verden? Uten at vi har fått det med oss?

 

Mange engasjerte lesere av avisen opplevde lik ignorering med sine leserinnlegg. Rune Vatne skrev et leserinnlegg og fortalte om livet som ble reddet av pH-dietten. Les leserinnlegget HER. Dette kom aldri på trykk. Hvorfor ønsker avisen å stoppe slik informasjon? Aftenbladet mener kanskje at Vatne ikke vet sitt eget beste, og at de sitter på sannheten som sier at Vatne tar feil.

 

Aftenbladet drev aktiv sensur slik at de kunne styre debatten slik de ønsket den. Selvsagt trykket de noen få innlegg som skulle gi oss inntrykket av at ytringsfriheten er ivaretatt, men det blir svært lite om man veier dette på vektskålen som måler for og imot. E-posten som dukket opp hos Kevin viser også tydelig hvordan man lett kan avfeie nye ideer som feil og misforståelser om man føler dem truende.

 

Hvordan skal nye ideer egentlig komme til orde i samfunnet når det fungerer på denne måten?

 

I våre øyne viser Aftenbladet med dette at avisen tydelig har utspilt sin rolle som bidragsyter for nytenking, og misforstår totalt hvilken plass den er tildelt i samfunnet. Tiden vi lever i krever absolutt nytenkning og kreativitet. Aftenbladet utviser steinalderholdninger med å proklamere sannheter på samme måte som de som har preget religionsbildet i årtusener med: ”Jeg har rett du har galt,”-påstander.

 

Er dette holdninger vi ønsker å ha med oss i tiden som kommer? Er det ikke nå på tide at vi starter en kampanje slik at folket kan få komme til orde gjennom medier som spiller på lag med folket, og at vi lar medier som later som om de spiller på lag med folket få vite at vi gjennomskuer spillet deres.

 

Ingen i Aftenbladet vil noensinne innrømme at de favoriserer enkelte tema, fordi de dekker seg bak uttalelser som at ethvert innlegg som ikke passer inn ikke holder god nok kvalitet selvsagt. Kvalitetsbegrepet er høyst subjektivt, og denne taktikken holder gamle etablerte sannheter trygt plassert øverst på dagsordenen.

 

Skal vi la enkelte norske medier få fortsette med dette tåpelige narre-spillet?

 

Slike spørsmål avgjøres av deg og meg, og i våre øyne har det den siste tiden blitt tydelig at Aftenbladets ledelse mangler alt av det som trengs for å være en viktig brikke i tiden som kommer med enorme utfordringer i helsevesenet og i energisektoren.

 

Ytringsfrihet viser seg nå å være begrenset til om man vet å sitere det som anses som sannheten. En slik trangsynthet fra et aviskonserns ledelse som Aftenbladet er bare trist å måtte oppleve.

 

Skal vi nå slå oss sammen og bidra til evolusjonens neste steg på mediefronten?

 

Vi vet at kun de mest tilpasningsdyktige og folkelige mediene vil overleve de nærmeste årene, de med mot og evne til å løfte fram nye tanker og nye forståelser.

 

I denne konteksten kan det virke som om Stavanger Aftenblad rett og slett er utgått på dato allerede. Kjenner du til andre medier som har gått ut på dato?

Dette er et nytt eksempel på hvordan vår kunnskap blir styrt. Det er tydeligvis ikke ønskelig med nye tanker og nye forståelser. De med alternative stemmer blir rett og slett brutalt hindret i å nå frem med sine ytringer i det frie landet Norge.

 

Ytringsfriheten utfordres om dagen, og med denne informasjonen ønsker vi at hele Norge skal få anledning til å velge hvilke medier som skal ha livets rett i fremtiden. Og derfor er det viktig at alle med dårlige erfaringer angående ytringsfrihet får komme frem med sine historier.

For at flest mulig skal få være med å avgjøre hvem som har livets rett i medieverdenen er det ønskelig at denne e-posten når alle Norges krinkelkroker.

Først og fremst vil jeg takke deg for all informasjon og for å ha hjulpet

meg til et bedre kosthold og dermed et bedre liv.

 

Jeg starta med det nye kostholdet m/SuperGreen, Grønnsaks Smoothie, Salt, mer olje (fett), Aloe Vera og mer salat/grønt til alle måltider. Salte mandler

har det også blitt veldig mye av :) I tillegg kutta jeg ut mye av melkeproduktene. Det tok ikke mer enn 2-3 dager før pH på morgenurin viste over 7.0. Jeg følte meg egentlig i veldig bra fysisk og psykisk form.

 

Var på Gran Canaria på sykkelferie i månedskiftet feb/mar. Har aldri før

følt meg så pigg i bakkene og fin i formen. Føttene bare gikk og gikk uten

at jeg ble skikkelig sliten slik jeg har opplevd tidligere. Herlig følelse.

Trolig takket være et bedre kosthold, men også økt treningsmengde.

 

Hadde vært kjekt og tatt en ny blodanalyse hos deg og sett om det var

Dr. Pernille Knudtzon er dansk og utdannet mikroskopist hos Young som oss, er almennpraktiserende lege og har en oversikt over alternativ helse som er imponerende.

En utrolig flott og omsorgsfull person. Hun jobber også en del fra Danmark.

Dersom dere skulle trenge noen som kan sette base og næring intravanøst – så finnes hun!

pH-diett teamet er i samtaler med henne for å ta henne til Stavanger for å holde foredrag og kurs for oss.

Gennem alle årene har interessen for den kinesiske medicin været der, og jeg har løbende taget kurser og brugt mine ”kinesiske briller” til at anskue livs – ubalancer/sygdomme ud fra yin/yang principperne og disses balance. Takk for sist! Etter at jeg begynte på saltet igjen har jeg fått mer energi igjen :)) jeg har til og med begynt å jogge!!! Den første dagen var veldig hard, og jeg tenkte at dette var vondt og at jeg aldri kom til å klare det uten å stoppe...

Gangen etter prøvde jeg et eksperiment: jeg sa til meg selv at dette er deilig, godt med frisk luft, kjenner jeg er i god form ja, dette går kjempebra, så lett det er å jogge...osv... Det gikk faktisk kjempebra!! Ganske utrolig :)))

It's me, Megan McNealy Graves, and I wanted to thank you for a wonderful retreat at your ranch on June 4-7th.  I wanted to give you an update on my progress!

 

As you know, I have suffered from diagnosed Rheumatoid Arthiritis for the past four years-- the first two years (from 5/5/05), Plaquenil wiped out all the symptoms, but for the past two years, I have lived with an incredible amount of pain--it first started in my knees, then hands, wrists, ankles and feet.  This spring it started also in my shoulders, neck and jaw.  My main Rheumatologist, Dr. Clare Targoff, has really encouraged me for the past two years to get on Methotrexate ASAP, and then she assumed, since I have a "moderate to severe" case, that I would then need yet the next level of pharmaceuticals (Enbrel, etc)

 

Before I came to the retreat at your ranch, I was at a real "low".  I was tempted to just give in and take the toxic drugs.

 

But then I thought I would give your diet another chance.  I read your book, The PH Miracle, last year, and had written Dr. McKinney at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine about how well I was feeling last summer.  He was very encouraged. But, then came a very busy work load this fall, and I fell a bit away from your program--instead of the purely aklaline diet, I started to eat fruit again, glass of wine here and there.  I wasn't doing the oil and salts and exercise and alkaline water either, which I know now is a huge part.

 

Since I was at your ranch, and since I have committed to your suggestions, my symptoms have really started to reverse.

Day 2, June 5th, the day you did my blood analysis.  I was nowhere near as tired.

Day 3, June 6th, during the night, not so painful to turn over (in my shoulders), hands and feet not as painful and stiff in the morning, can completely close left hand into fist (first time in a year).  This is the day, you remember that we RAN together 1.5 miles.  I have not run in 3 years, as it has been too painful.  You saw me-- I looked pretty good!  :-) I didn't have any soreness in any joints after.  Your recommendation to work out everyday, really sweat, is something that I took to heart and I have been exercising daily since.

Day 4, balls of feet don't have as much pain walking

Day 5, June 10, at daughter's class picnic, opened three plastic water bottles by myself (first time in two years)--oddly enough, I opened the caps and didn't notice any pain.  Can do muscle stretch fully on left leg and 3/4 way on right (normally can't put my ankle at this angle)

Day 10, at dinner with clients, I was able to walk down stairs at restaurant foot over foot rather than two feet on each stair like usual.  Did 25 minutes on elliptical machine at very good pace with no pain.  In afternoon held tennis racket and with some pain, I was able to play "mini tennis".  Not able to do full court.

Day 12, went running and had no foot pain or knee pain as long as I stayed on flat surface (no tilts)

Today is Day 13, and I am the same as yesterday.  I keep looking for all signs of improvement.  I am already starting to forget how horrible I was feeling two weeks ago.

 

I am so encouraged, and I want to thank you for your recommendations.  Thank you for telling me what is really wrong with me.  I will send Dr McKinney the 41 page report that you made for me, complete with the photos of my live blood analysis.  I will have that in the mail to him tomorrow.

 

Lastly, my mom and dad, Margaret and Ken, had a wonderful time at the retreat also.  Dad has lost 20 lbs as of yesterday, and Mom has lost 12 lbs.  They said that they have so much more energy and are thinking so clearly.

Sometimes wonderful news arrives in unique packages.

 

I am a registered nurse, and I study alternative health measures and nutrition. My husband and I have six precious children.

 

The story behind our impressive news began in January of 2008. I thought our youngest child, Gabriel, possibly had a bladder infection. What started out to be a somewhat routine doctor visit ended up with disturbing news. Our family doctor said he suspected Gabriel had Type 1 Diabetes. Shock hit me as I tried to absorb the news. We had no family history of Diabetes, and overall our family had been very healthy. The extensive tests taken the next day revealed that our six-year-old son would probably be insulin-dependent within six months.

 

Our pediatric endocrinologist insisted that there was nothing we could do to prevent the onset of Diabetes. He said that no dietary changes were needed or would help.

 

After scouring all known resources and a lot of prayers, I discovered Dr. Young’s research. Dr. Young graciously invited us to a microscopy class to observe, learn and have a look at both the live and dried blood of Gabriel. We thought Gabriel had been on a reasonably healthy diet, but as we would come to realize, it was far too acidic with way too many carbohydrates.

 

We chose to dive head-first into the pH Miracle program. Immediately his blood sugar levels came to within normal ranges. His weak body soon returned to its previous vigor.

 

Our story took a twist in the road when only four months later our ten year old son, Nathan, was also diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. At the same time, a blood test revealed that Gabriel had no measurable insulin left in his blood. Although we were thankful that Gabriel was maintaining normal blood sugar levels, we grieved at what appeared to be the loss of insulin production. Meanwhile, people were amazed when I told them our story. This seemed impossible according to anyone in the medical field.

 

Dr. Young invited us out to the pH Miracle Center again. Gabriel’s blood sample showed remarkable improvement. Nathan’s blood sample confirmed his diagnosis. Nathan joined his brother on the pH Miracle pH balancing and nutritional adventure.

 

In July, after two months of perseverance, we ended up back at our doctor’s office. We were amazed when he announced the results of both boys’ recent lab results. Gabriel’s pancreas had once again begun to produce some insulin. Nathan went from insufficient insulin levels to overproducing insulin in order to compensate for insulin antibodies present. Both were maintaining normal blood sugar levels. We were overwhelmed with gratitude.

 

Back to the daily routine with renewed vigor, hope kept us lock-step in the COWS plan… Chlorophyll,healthy Oils,high-alkaline Water, and minerals Salts. We celebrated Gabriel’s six month anniversary since being diagnosed. The pediatric endocrinologist had predicted Gabriel would be insulin-dependent within six months. What a wonderful feeling it was for him to have a normal blood sugar that day and to watch Gabriel playing and swimming so joyfully. Had it not been for what we had so recently learned, that day could have been another sad day spent in the hospital dealing with the grueling struggle of insulin dependence.

 

September, two months later, brought more amazing news. Our doctor sat us down with their new lab results. He said Nathan no longer appeared to exhibit lab results and symptoms of a Type 1 Diabetic. In their diagnostic and labeling system, he would now be categorized as a Type 2 Diabetic. Gabriel, incredibly, would no longer be considered a diabetic. His fasting and post prandial insulin levels were considered normal!

 

Now, it is January of 2009, and our journey continues. It has been one year since we found out Gabriel had Diabetes. We are introducing more carbohydrates into Gabriel’s diet. He is tolerating them well. Nathan is doing well and hoping to follow in his brother’s footsteps.

 

Helping our children with their new dietary opportunity has brought many touching and comical stories. We could write a book. Often the boys hug me and thank me for being on the pH diet and their renewed health. We have adopted an “attitude of gratitude” as our motto.

 

One key to encouraging them seems to be having a good alkalinizing substitute for different occasions. Gabriel wanted radishes in his plastic Easter eggs. For Christmas, Nathan helped concoct great gingerbread and cutout “sugar” cookies. We experimented and came up with a great alkaline brownie!

 

Tears well up in my eyes as I remember an incident which happened this past weekend. Gabriel was invited to a slumber party. To prepare for this big event, I called the mom hosting the party to get the menu. We carefully prepared pH snacks and meals that corresponded with the festivities. When I came to pick Gabriel up, he came running towards me with his sweet brown eyes twinkling and a toothy grin.

 

“Mom!” he exclaimed. “Guess what I got from the piñata? All toys!” The hosting parents had so thoughtfully considered Gabriel’s diet. I asked him to tell me about his favorite part of the party. Without hesitation he shouted with zeal “The FOOD!” He then, with a big bear hug, whispered “My food tasted so much better than their food. Thank you, Mom.”

 

When people ask me how we could live with a special diet, I answer gently “How could I not with what we now know?”

 

Sometimes wonderful news does arrive in unique packages. We thank God for ours.

" Jeg satte utrolig pris på å ta blodanalyse hos deg. Det at jeg fikk med

mannen min var veldig bra.

 

Vil bare si deg at det går virkelig framover med meg, jeg har ikke 

smakt en dråpe kaffe nå siden før påske og føler meg endelig fri fra 

den lasten.

 

Jeg drikker to – tre flasker greens pr dag og tar pH saltet. Tenk at magen

min stoppet fullstendig opp, da jeg ikke hadde saltet i hus. 

Prøver å være flink med grønnsaker og er veldig grønn i kosten fram 

til middag. Da skeier jeg noen ganger ut med litt potet og ris, men 

spiser masse grønnsaker/salat. I det siste har jeg spist en skive

"Drømmebrød" til frokost, et økologisk speltbrød

uten hvete og gjær. Jeg har heller ikke smakt noe kjøtt 

siden jeg var hos deg sist, og føler meg god og lett.

Mr. Rick Laurenzi: Thank you for this insightful answer. We're going to change the subject to pH. How important is it to maintain an alkaline pH in our blood, saliva, urine and sweat?

 

Dr. Young: Maintaining the alkaline pH of the saliva, urine, tears, sweat and blood is critical. Testing the body fluid pH is the most important daily measurement anyone can do to maintain health and fitness and to PREVENT ALL sickness and disease. The beauty of the pH test is that you don't need to go to a doctor to do it. You can do it yourself. You can actually become your own doctor and manage your own health with this simple test. And if you'll remember this rule--if you maintain the saliva and the urine pH, ideally at 7.2 or above, you will never get sick. That's right you will NEVER get sick! The key is to manage the alkaline design of the body fluids. But, most people on the planet have a urine or saliva pH in the six or fives. They don't manage their pH. People take better care of their aquariums, swimming pools, or spas, than their own internal body fluids. Managing the pH of your body fluids is simple. All you do is take some pHydrion paper or litmus

paper, moisten it with saliva and urine and then check the color on the color-coded chart. The chart measures the pH of saliva, urine, sweat, and tears in 5.0 to 8.5 increments. Ideally, you want your saliva, urine, sweat and tears to measure at least 7.2 or better. Managing you body fluid pH with an alkaline lifestyle and diet is the healthiest advice I could give anyone on this planet. It is inexpensive. It is simple, and it works.

 

Laurenzi: When these body fluids stay acidic for days, weeks, months or years, what happens to human health?

 

Dr. Young: What happens to human health when you stay in the acidic zone? You get sick, tired and fat. And, if you don't get fat, you die. When you are underweight you are living on your own body tissue. Your body is making red blood cells at of body cells. Why? Because you have damaged the root system of your small intestine with acidic food, drink, enzymes, probiotics, antibiotics and other acidic drugs. You are constantly breaking down your own body cells in order to maintain the level of red blood cells at 5 million red blood cells per cubic millimeter. In order to build muscle and bones you have to have healthy strong red blood cells. In order to have healthy strong red blood cells you have to have a healthy alkaline root system or intestinal villi with an alkaline lifestyle and diet. You build healthy blood with electron-rich green alkaline foods and drinks. When you are constantly bombarding your internal environment with acidic foods and drinks and damag

ing your intestinal villi, you set the stage for all sickness and dis-ease.

 

Laurenzi: When these liquids are acidic, are they by nature taking electrons away causing oxidation and formation of free radicals?

 

Dr. Young: When we ingest any acidic food or drink, our body immediately reacts to neutralize or buffer the acid. For example, let's say you drink a glass of orange juice. But before drinking the orange juice you test the pH of your saliva. After drinking the orange juice you test your saliva pH again. You would think that drinking orange juice, which has a pH between 2.5 to 3 and is highly acidic, would actually cause the pH of your saliva to go down. But it does not. The saliva pH goes up higher then when you first tested the pH. The pH of the saliva should test out over 8. What is happening is the salivary glands are releasing sodium bicarbonate to buffer the acids of the orange juice. This is why the saliva pH goes up. If the saliva pH does not go up this indicates that your alkaline reserves are deficient. All forms of sugar are acidic to the body. Even fruit sugars are acidic. When the body is trying to neutralize an acid, it has to secrete an alkaline

buffer to do so. When you ingest sugar or you drink a glass of fresh orange juice, or you take any acidic food in the mouth, the pH will sharply go up to neutralize the acid from that food. This is done to protect the alkaline design of the body. When you start using up your alkaline reserves and you do not replace those reserves with alkaline foods and drinks, you begin to compromise other parts of the body. Especially if, the daily diet is loaded with acidic foods and drinks. When the alkaline reserves are deficient and the diet is also deficient in foods or drinks that will build up those alkaline reserves the body starts pulling alkaline minerals from the bones and muscles. This causes deficiencies of the bones and muscles. When your blood is compromised from a deficiency of alkaline reserves, such as sodium bicarbonate or the elements to make sodium bicarbonate, the body will begin pulling calcium from the bones and/or magnesium from the muscles to maintain the

alkalinity of the blood plasma. This is when you will start experiencing the deficiencies of alkalinity that are expressed in the seven stages of acidosis, going from sensitivities all the way up to degeneration.

 

Laurenzi: What are some of the positive things that would occur if all of these body fluids are alkaline?

 

Dr. Young: When you are alkalized you are energized. And when you are energized you feel better and think better. You have sustainable energy when you are alkalized. When you eat and drink alkaline you are making energy deposits to your body, like a bank account. You are making alkaline deposits to your energy bank account and to your alkaline reserves or energy savings account. The positive benefits of being alkaline are incredible health, energy, fitness, mental clarity and vitality.

 

Laurenzi: We're going to use your term--why is the "New Biology" so important?

 

 

Laurenzi: For the body's immune system to work properly is alkalinity the most important thing to monitor?

 

Dr. Young: True immunity from ALL sickness and disease comes from alkalinity not from white blood cells. We were all taught in human biology that immunity is comes from white blood cells protecting us from some invading germ or virus. White blood cells provide NO immunity. White blood cells do not destroy germs. White blood cells are glorified janitors that swim around in our blood and lymphatic plasma picking up the garbage we create from an acidic lifestyle and diet. White blood cells are NOT soldiers, destroying some invading germ coming in from the outside world that would make us sick. True immunity comes to each of us by maintaining the alkaline fluids of the body. That is where true immunity is found. The first line of defense against sickness and disease is an alkaline internal environment. As soon as you put something acidic into your mind, into your mouth, into your lungs, your alkaline buffering system is engaged to neutralizing or buffer any acidic foo

d, drink, or thought that might be present. That's true immunity. It is found in the alkaline reserves for your body. When you have an alkaline lifestyle and diet you are able to defend off environmental, dietary or metabolic acids that would make you sick, tired and/or fat. Germs DO NOT cause disease. Acids cause pain, sickness and disease. There is a simple way to understand this principal. Let's compare our bodies to an automobile. When you start your car, the car begins using energy. As the car uses energy is creates an acidic waste product called carbon monoxide. When you turn the car off you stop producing this acid. If you start the car again and stuff a few socks or a potato in the tailpipe the car will die from carbon monoxide acidosis. If you were to stop eliminating your own acidic waste products through urination, perspiration, defecation or respiration, like the car, you would die too. The body has a way of protecting itself from excess acidity.

When dietary and/or metabolic acids are not properly eliminated they get parked on your hips, thighs, buttocks, waistline, breast and brain. The body does this to protect and preserve the organs and organ systems that sustain life. Your best immunity, to protect your body from ALL sickness and disease DOES NOT come from vaccination or medication. True immunity comes from protecting the alkaline design of the body with an alkaline lifestyle and diet. Once again, white blood cells, including neutrophils, eosinophils, basophils, T and B-cells help to maintain cleanliness, and in reality are just the janitors of your body fluids - like an automatic pool sweep. You can support your white blood cells with an electron-rich alkaline lifestyle and diet.

 

Laurenzi: Do bacteria, viruses, fungus, yeast, grow easily in an acidic body?

 

Dr. Young: Bacteria and yeast are biological transformations of what used to be organized matter from diet and healthy body cells. You know if you leave food in the back of the refrigerator, that it will spoil. And, if you leave it long enough it will give birth to first bacteria, then yeast and finally mold. You know that food is not infected from the outside world, but is spoiling from the inside out. Bacteria, yeast and mold are nothing more than a biological transformation of matter. You can accept this. But for some reason, science has adopted a medical philosophy or theory that somehow germs are species-specific, as if there's individual like a cat or a dog. There is nothing special about a virus or bacteria. A virus is nothing more than a smaller bacterial form, from disorganizing or transforming matter. In reality, what I have discovered, through my work, is a virus, is many times just crystallized acids. When you look at bacteria under the microscope, what you are looking at are fragments of what used to be a brain cell or a bone cell or blood cell.

 

And, yeast is just another transformation or evolution, very similar to looking at a caterpillar transforming later into a beautiful butterfly. You accept the reality that the butterfly, use to be a different form--it use to be a caterpillar and now is a beautiful butterfly.

 

And yet this idea of attaching some sort of identity to germs has become very popular over the last 150 years. And the whole focus of medical science has been trying to figure out how to kill the virus, bacteria, yeast or mold.

 

And yet, in reality, the germ is nothing more than a transformation of matter. You cannot kill matter you can only change matter. Because matter cannot be created nor can it be destroyed; it can only change its former function. So therefore, bacteria, yeast and mold is nothing more than a biological transformation of matter that has taken place because of an environment that has become acidic.

 

When the internal environment becomes acidic, the body or blood cell will change. When you take water and put it in the freezer, it turns to ice. When you take water and put it on the stove, it turns to steam. Nothing is ever lost, and nothing is ever gained. The matter is still there, it just takes on a different form. This is a law of physics. When you see bacteria and yeast in the body, all you are looking at is the transformation of what use to be a body cell, a red blood cell, a white blood cell, or a heart cell, and that bacteria or yeast is the evidence of a compromised internal acidic environment.

 

Germs DO NOT cause disease; they are the expression that the internal environment is acidic. You see, the great germ theory of medical science is a scientific illusion. The Germ is Nothing! The Alkaline Internal Environment is Everything!

 

Laurenzi: What is the easiest way for someone to check and maintain their body's pH?

 

Dr. Young: The easiest way for someone to check and maintain the body fluid pH is to test the urine and saliva.

 

The best time to test the urine is in the morning, because the morning urine is an expression of what you ate and what you drank and how you lived your life the previous, 24 hours. The morning urine is not a product of the blood; it is a product of the tissues. When you measure your urine, you are measuring the pH of your tissues. If your pH is below the ideal of 7.2, and it measures in the 5's or 6's, you are in tissue acidosis. When someone over-exercises they can go into lactic tissue acidosis. Lactic acid from over-exercise is felt in the connective tissues and muscles. When the muscles are sore, that's the tissues picking up the acid to maintain the alkaline blood pH. The blood has to rid itself of metabolic acids or you would die. So it throws the acid out into the muscle tissues and you feel it as irritation or inflammation. If the lactic acid stays in the tissues, it will spoil the tissue cells, and the body will go into preservation mode. In preservation mod

e, the body will encapsulate the cells spoiled by lactic acid, and now you have a tumor. The tumor is the solution to stop systemic spoiling or metastasis. When the lymphatic system is healthy it will pull the lactic acid out of the tissues, and eventually you will sweat it out or it will be recycled back into the blood and you will urinate it out. So this is very, very important. So remember, when you are testing the pH of your urine, you are testing the pH of your tissues.

 

And when you are testing your saliva, you are testing your ability or potential to alkalize your food and drink. So when you're saliva pH is below 7.2, your potential for alkalizing your food, drink and emotions is less. Your reserves are low. You need to make a deposit to your alkaline bank account. And that would be the same with your urine. When your urine is acidic, you need to start alkalizing. You run the risk of staying within an acidic zone; you run the risk of going through the seven stages of acidosis. Starting with lack of energy to sensitivities to inflammation, and working up to ulceration and degeneration.

 

Laurenzi: Should every doctor, hospital, nutritionist, health care professional be using pHydrion paper to monitor their patients' body fluids?

 

Dr. Young: Absolutely, they should be giving pHydrion paper to their patients so they can monitor their tissue pH. Doctors need to educate NOT medicate. My goal is to empower every individual person on the planet to be able to take responsibility for their own health and fitness. I've expressed my theory very simply in what I call "the fishbowl" metaphor. The fishbowl metaphor is very simple to understand and it starts out with a question. Here is the question. "If the fish is sick, what would you do? Would you treat the fish or change the water?" If you said change the water you are correct. When you put on your common-sense hat and you ask this question, "if the fish is sick, what would you do? Treat the fish or change that water?" Right off the top of your head, you would say, "Dr. Young, I would change the water." If you ask the same question to your doctor, what would you expect? "Well, I'd treat the fish." Because that's what doctors do. That's their minds

et. But when you realize that every cell in the body is eternal in nature, and would live forever if you would only maintain the correct alkaline pH, you see, there would be no aging of the body. I mean, in a perfect scenario. But, we don't live in a perfect scenario. Ideally, in the perfect scenario, the life expectancy of the human cell, that makes up all of your organs and tissues are infinite. Every day you either choose to live or you choose to die--either by omission or commission. Either you do it with knowledge or you do it with a lack of knowledge. When you have a lack of knowledge, you live in acidic state and you can end up sick, tired and/or fat. It is critical for me to tell you that, "YES, testing your urine and saliva is the most important thing one can do to maintain the body in an alkaline state full of health, fitness, vitality, hope, love and peace." You'll be surprised at how healthy, energetic and strong you will get, even when everyone around y

ou is getting sick. That just won't happen to you anymore!

 

Laurenzi: Sir, if you'll forgive me. I've just spent two days shooting in fish stores. If the fish is sick and the water's dirty, do you give the fish a pill or do you change the water?

 

Dr. Young: If the fish is sick and the water's dirty, do you give the fish a pill? The answer is definitely not, because that just contributes more to the internal environmental pollution. Taking a pill does not clean up the water. You've got to change the water and do it in a way that's not going to kill the fish or the body cells that make up your tissues and organs. You have to do it in a way that's going to be healthful and energetic. And, there is a way to do this. The way to do this is with an alkaline lifestyle and diet; I call "pH Miracle Living."

Myth 3: Meat provides essential nutrients that are unavailable from any other source.

 

Scientific Fact: In terms of essential minerals and trace elements, there are none that are presently exclusive in meat or fish: not iodine, calcium, potassium, magnesium, sodium or zinc or even B-12. The only vitamin that meat offers and that plant foods do not—unless the plant is fermenting or rotting—is B-12. B-12 is formed when matter is breaking down as a waste product or ferment. That is why tofu, which is not a fermented food, contains no B-12. And tempeh and miso, which is fermented soy, does contain B-12. B-12 is also found in algae which help to break down dead bodies. The need for B-12 as an essential vitamin has NOT been established!

 

It is therefore unnecessary to eat meat to obtain any mineral or vitamin that the body needs.

 

Author Nina Planck said, “the fact remains, though, that humans prefer animal proteins and fats to cereals and tubers because they contain all the essential amino acids needed for life in the right ratio. However, this is not true of plant proteins, which are inferior in quantity and quality — even soy. A vegan diet may lack vitamin B12, found only in animal foods; usable vitamins A and D, found in meat, fish, eggs and butter, and necessary minerals like calcium and zinc. When babies are deprived of all these nutrients, they will suffer from retarded growth, rickets and nerve damage.”

 

The reason that you find greater amounts of B12 in meat, fish, eggs and dairy products is because you have to have high titers of bacteria to synthesize B-12. B-12 is the morbid waste product of bacteria found in decomposing animal products. The more rotted the meat, the more B-12 that is produced as an acidic waste product of bacteria and yeast fermentation. Just like carbon monoxide is the morbid waste product of your cars energy production, so B-12 is the waste product of energy consumption as matter is breaking down. That is why B-12 is found in fermented soy products like tempeh and miso.

 

The fact that vegetarian diets lack B-12 is a good thing, not a bad thing. And even if it was good, there is no scientific evidence that can substantiate it being essential for the body.
